Sustainability extends far beyond the right fabrics, for us it means fair labour practices in every aspect of the supply chain. That is why we are committed to only working with ethical, accredited manufacturers who share the same values, and adhere to our ethical code of conduct. 

As part of our relaunch, we spent over a year sourcing and sampling with factories that had been narrowed down to be in line with our values. To find the very best supplier we spoke to over 20 factories, and sampled 5 factories. 

Our chosen factory is based in Guangdong in China, a region renowned for their underwear manufacturing. They are accredited and SMETA audited and throughout our sourcing process have offered full transparency across their entire operation. Our experience has been second to none with them and we have been blown away by their quality, and sure you will be too! 

This is the first time we have worked with a supplier in China and it was not a decision we took lightly, knowing people’s perception of China and the fashion industry. But whilst it is important to say we mustn’t blanket a country with preconceived misconceptions, we were sure to do extensive due-diligence of our own to make sure we could be totally confident that they adhered to our strict code of conduct. We meticulously combed through our partners reports so we are confident they are upholding the highest standards and values, paying living wages, fair working conditions and no child labour. In fact, the youngest worker is 30 years old.
